The Charlotte Area Transportation system is seeking local artists to integrate art into a future bus shelter.
The art would be incorporated into the windscreen glass of the bus shelters.
The project is part of a bigger, ongoing acquisition of transit amenities being purchased and distributed by the CATS bus system over five years.
CATS will select at least two artists to decorate the bus shelters. An art budget of $15,000 would be split between the chosen artists.
Artists can apply at this link before the June 30 deadline.
