Graduation is months away for most high school seniors, and the time to make their college decision is quickly approaching.
Many of these decisions are affected by the cost of tuition and scholarships that are awarded.
There are a number of local HBCU alumni chapters offering scholarships to high school seniors and matriculating college students.

NC A&T Charlotte alumni chapter will award eight $2,000 scholarships for the Fall semester of 2023.

The NCCU Charlotte alumni chapter will award scholarships up to $2000 for deserving students from our local area. Students must meet the eligibility requirements and be committed to NCCU for the Fall semester of 2023.

The St. Augustine University Charlotte alumni chapter will award a $500 scholarship, with the possibility of annual renewal, to eligible students who plan to enroll at Saint Augustine’s University during the next school year and/or to undergraduate students who are presently enrolled.

The scholarship award shall be made in the fall semester of the eligible academic year, pending the recipient’s enrollment at Winston-Salem State University. The award is $1,000 and will be granted to three incoming freshmen.
