If your mom is a competitive person, this is the place for you. District 57 is an entertainment center that features a 30-room challenge arena and Border Town, a tactical laser tag room, along with arcade games. Finger food and beer are available for purchase.

Moms and daughters can bond while creating their own custom lipstick shade for $75 per person.

If southern food is something your family loves, Leroy Fox has you covered. Menu items like a fried chicken sandwich, blackened chicken with macaroni and cheese or a salmon BLT are a few house favorites. And since it’s getting warmer out, enjoy your meal on the screened patio for some fresh air while dining.

Whether your family’s from Louisiana or not, Razzoo’s Cajun Cafe is the perfect Louisiana-style restaurant for Mother’s Day. They offer classic seafood dishes like fried shrimp and crawfish, Creole favorites, and other Bayou-style classics such as fried gator tail. You can also top off your meal with a delicious dessert like a brownie with ice cream.

The Cajun Queen’s atmosphere is unlike many other restaurants in Charlotte. The restaurant is inside a 100-year-old in the Elizabeth neighborhood and feels like an invite over for dinner with friends. Cajun Queen serves cajun and creole-style food with dishes like cajun fried oysters, crawfish, bread pudding and more. In the past, they’ve offered live music reminiscent of the sounds you’d hear on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.
